What's Happening at AWC:

PARADE FLOAT
July 3rd & July 4th

AWC will be entering a float in the parade celebration of Avon's Bi-Centennial being held on Friday evening at 6pm, July 4th.

Come join the fun decorating AWC's float Thurs, July 3 at 7pm in AWC's parking lot.

There will be an ecumenical service on Sunday, July 6 at 1pm with other activities happening in town throughout the weekend.

Family Camp draws great Christian speakers, Bible teachers and musicians. Throughout the day, there is something for every age to do and enjoy. After the evening services, many gather around fires to chat with friends, both new and old. For more information, visit the Chambers Camp Web Site

Baptism Service
Sunday, July 13 at 3pm

We will be holding a baptism service at Chuck & Peg Faisst's home (41 Hickory Hill, Avon). There will be a fellowship time following the baptism. Please bring lawn chairs, a large dish to pass, meat to grill and table service for your family. If you are interested in being baptized, please add your name to the sign-up at the Information Desk. A meeting will be held at 7pm on Sunday, July 6 in the worship center (a week prior to the baptism service). If you cannot attend this meeting, please set up an appointment with Pastor Dan.

Church Picnic
Saturday, July 19 at 12pm

Join us at Letchworth State Park for our annual all church picnic! Bring a large dish to pass, your own table service, beverage and meat to grill. Charcoal, condiments, and table coverings will be provided. Be sure to bring sports equipment: soccer ball, volleyball, baseball, bats, gloves Frisbee, bocce, croquet, etc.
What a great time of fellowship! You won't want to miss it!
